Or "Why I got stuck at level 15 with my previous Druid character".I think it's rather simple: Druids are versatile, true, but to truly enjoy the potential of the class you MUST reach the higher levels. I think that I didn't enjoy playing my previous Druid because I had some expectations that were not met. I saw what Druids were capable of and I thought "Hey, I'd like to do that too". Thing is, being unable to shape shift into an ass-kicking Dire Bear or Cat form (much less the Talent-based forms), theres not much you can do.
I believe this time I'll endure it. One of the purposes of Alindore's Journey is to keep a repository of my ideas for the character and to keep me interested in her while I endure the long journey up to max level. Druids certainly require a lot of patience, gear and gold to shine. I'm a single-spec type of player, but with my Druid I'm certainly willing to do some re-speccing to try my hand at different Druid roles. I wouldn't even mind re-speccing from time to time to fill roles as needed.
The morale: Stick with your Druid. You might feel rather weak at the beginning, you might feel like you don't excel at dealing damage or healing, much less at tanking. But you'll soon bloom into a full-fledged hybrid powerhouse. Just take your time and try to enjoy the ride.
